Corrections, questions, research tips, complaints, or an offer to review our articles — all of it reaches the same inbox and all of it gets read.

Email

[email protected]

We aim to reply within 3 working days. Corrections are treated as urgent and handled ahead of everything else.

What to include

If you are reporting an error, the fastest route to a fix is:

  • The URL of the article
  • The specific sentence or figure that is wrong
  • What it should say, and a source if you have one

You do not need to be polite about it. We would rather have a blunt correction than a wrong article.

Send a message

This form goes straight to [email protected]. If you would rather email directly, that works just as well.

Research and study tips

If you have published something in psychology, behavioural science or mental health and think it is worth covering, send the DOI or a link to the paper. Press releases are welcome but we will read the paper itself before writing anything.

Clinical review

We are looking for qualified clinicians willing to review articles before publication. If that might be you, get in touch — the review policy explains what would be involved.

Complaints

If you believe we have published something inaccurate, unfair, or harmful, say so and we will look at it properly. Our corrections policy explains what happens next and what you can expect.

Privacy requests

Requests about your personal data — access, correction, deletion — go to the same address. Our privacy commitment explains what we hold and what your rights are.

What we cannot help with

We cannot give personal or clinical advice. We are not clinicians and we cannot tell you what is happening with you, your child or your relationship, or what you should do about it. Please do not send us clinical details about yourself or anyone else.

If you are struggling, a doctor or a qualified mental health professional is the right first step. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country — findahelpline.com lists services worldwide.
