A 24-year-old woman in Florida is accused of stealing a $37,000 Rolex from a man she met on Tinder, allegedly slipping out of his high-rise Miami apartment, kissing him goodbye at the elevator, and then blocking his number before he even noticed the watch was gone.
Alexia Jocelyn Flores now faces a charge of grand theft over $20,000 but under $100,000.
A probable cause affidavit reviewed by Law&Crime says the victim called police around 2:30 a.m. Sunday to report that a woman had made off with two of his watches.
The man lives in an apartment building in the 1100 block of Brickell Bay Drive in Miami. Investigators say he told them he’d matched with a woman named Alexia on Tinder, taken her to dinner, and then brought her back to his place, where the two had several drinks.

According to the affidavit, the victim was sitting in the living room while the woman got dressed in the bedroom to leave. He walked her to the elevator, they kissed goodbye, and she headed out in an Uber that he had paid for.
It wasn’t until after she left that he noticed two watches missing from his nightstand, police said. When he tried calling her, he found she’d already blocked his number, the affidavit states.
The following day, officers put together a photo lineup of six women, and the victim picked out Flores. He also handed over a receipt showing he’d purchased the $37,000 Rolex, backing up his claim.
Flores was arrested Wednesday. After being read her Miranda rights, she acknowledged meeting the victim through Tinder and going back to his apartment, but denied taking the watches.

Instead, she told investigators she suspected she’d been drugged and had no memory of what happened after that point. However, she had never filed a separate report about being drugged, according to the affidavit.
Flores was booked into Miami-Dade County Jail, where she’s being held on a $7,500 bond. She has pleaded not guilty, and no date for her next court appearance had been set as of this report.
